On January 20-24, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili participated in the World Economic Forum in Davis.

At the beginning of his visit, Irakli Garibashvili attended a private reception and dinner hosted by Dr. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.

The Prime Minister gave speeches at the Travel and Trade in a High-Risk Era session and working dinner dedicated to Europe's Growth Markets.

Within the framework of the World Economic Forum, the Prime Minister of Georgia participated in the Informal Gathering of World Leaders designed to define economic priorities in 2015.

As part of his visit, Irakli Garibashvili held face-to-face meetings with the heads of several countries. Negotiations with representatives of leading global companies were held as well.

During the visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia found himself in the leading foreign media spotlight. Irakli Garibashvili was interviewed by Die Welt and participated live on a CNBC show.

The Georgian delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili, Director of the National Investment Agency Giorgi Pertaia, and Georgian Railways CEO Mamuka Bakhtadze.
