Public Administration Reform Action Plan 2019-2020

The Public Administration Reform Action Plan for 2019-2020 has been developed under the coordination of the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

The new, third action plan of the Reform envisages 23 objectives, 35 outcome indicators and more than 75 activities with 119 output indicators aiming at improving the progress made in 6 main directions of the reform: policy planning and coordination, civil service and human resource management, accountability, public service delivery, public finance management and local self-government.

Along with government agencies, local and international organizations were actively involved in the development of the document, including experts from the Support for Improvement in Governance and Management Programme of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD/SIGMA).

On March 27, 2019, the draft action plan was reviewed and approved by the Public Administration Reform Inter-agency Coordination Council.

The Action Plan was approved by the Government of Georgia on June 10, 2019, by the governmental Decree №274.
