Georgian Prime Minister congratulated Paolo Gentiloni on his appointment as Italy's Prime Minister and wished him success in his endeavors.
In his congratulation letter to his Italian colleague, the Georgian Prime Minister recalls Paolo Gentiloni's recent visit to Georgia, which was of great significance for promoting the bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Italy.
" I am sure, during a number of discussions conducted in the framework of that visit you grasped the very special attitude that we maintain toward Italy and the huge importance we attach to close relations between our countries," reads Giorgi Kvirikashvili's letter.
The Prime Minister of Georgia also emphasized his special acknowledgment of Paolo Gentiloni's personal contribution to the success of visa liberalization process.
"I strongly believe that with joint efforts the partnership between our countries will acquire a new substance and impetus, and further consolidate for the mutual benefit to our nations.
I am convinced that under your leadership the new government will accomplish with excellence Italy's tasks and objectives," the Georgian Prime Minister pointed out.
