On April 11-12 the Prime Minister of Georgia visited United Arab Emirates. Georgian delegation participate in the Annual Investment Forum of Dubai (AIM 2016).

Giorgi Kvirikashvili delivered a speech during the panel - "Global leaders Debate", during which he put emphasis on strategic location of Georgia, attractive investment climate in Georgia, ease of doing business in the country. Giorgi Kvirikashvili updated participants of the Forum about the investment potential of Georgia and underlined the free, open and transparent business environment that has been established in Georgia. Annual Investment Forum of Dubai was attended by high-profile government officials, representatives of large business enterprises and experts.

Within the frames of the visit, the Prime Minister conducted a meeting with the Prime Minister of UAE, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The sides discussed potential in terms of trade and economic relations and expressed readiness to deepen the partnership between countries in the areas of economy, trade, tourism and attracting investment.

Prime Minister of Georgia conducted a meeting with the heir of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sides discussed deepening of trade and economic relations between the countries as well as specific projects implemented in these areas.

During the meeting it was decided that the special group from UAE will visit Georgia to study particular investment fields.

It was noted that new stage of trade and economic relations between the countries will start.
Giorgi Kvirikashili invited the heir to Georgia.

Prime Minister of Georgia presented Georgia's investment potential, attractive business environment and reforms planned to ensure country's development to the companies participating in the Forum.

Close business cooperation between United Arab Emirates and Georgia was emphasized during the meeting. It was noted that the UAE is the largest investor in Georgia.
