During the conversation, the Head of Government singled out the introduction of a healthy lifestyle and engaging youth in sports as priorities, also pointing out that handing state-owned property to the Tennis Federation serves this exact purpose, with the relevant memorandum signed today with the Ministry of Economy.
According to Mamuka Bakhtadze, the cooperation between the state and the federation is crucial for attracting the population to athletic activities and developing sports tourism.

The Vice President of the Tennis Federation thanked the Prime Minister for cooperation and emphasized that the free long-term usufruct on the property will enable to the federation to develop and implement its long-term strategy which seeks to build new tennis complexes in Georgia's regions, including in Mestia, Shekvetili, Tzkaltubo, Zugdidi, Sachkhere, and Borjomi.
The federation also expressed commitment to adjusting access to athletic facilities to suit the needs of different social strata, in line with financial capabilities.
