Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili unveiled Market in Orbeliani located in the territory of the historical market in Orbeliani Square.
The project's cumulative investment amounts to 18 million GEL, of which 9 million GEL was subsidized within the framework of the Produce in Georgia program. Under the project, the building of the farmer's market, operating in the capital's historical neighborhood since 1886, was restored. Market in Orbeliani occupies 3 stories, a total of over 10,000 square meters, and incorporates modern agricultural market and eateries.

The market displays products from the beneficiaries of various agricultural programs. The 1st floor will be occupied by the farmer's market to offer diverse food and non-food items in almost 100 locations. At this point, the market brings together in excess of 100 entrepreneurs and retail sellers. The 2nd floor is set aside for 35 eateries.

In the nearest future, Market Gastro School, a culinary school, will open under the project to invite all interested parties to masterclasses.
