Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Kingdom of Jordan.

The meeting at the Government Administration focused on bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the immense importance attached by Georgia to developing its friendly relations with Jordan. The parties expressed hope concerning the further expansion of the bilateral ties between Georgia and the Kingdom of Jordan across a variety of areas.

The Head of Government thanked the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Kingdom of Jordan for Jordan's firm support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The parties underlined the importance of high-level exchange meetings, another step toward deeper relations between the two countries.

The meeting at the Administration of the Government was attended by Jordanian Army Intelligence Director Azzam Al-Rawahneh, General Director of the Jordanian Design and Development Bureau Ayman Al-Batran, Planning and Organization Director Hossam Haddad, also by the Georgian side represented by Georgia's Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, Chief of the Defense Forces Giorgi Matiashvili, and Head of the Government Administration Ilia Darchiashvili.
