Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited the Kakhadzes greenhouse farm in the village of Dioknisi, Dmanisi Municipality.
The Head of Government was hosted by Yuri Kakhadze, the farm's owner.
The Kakhadze family received 5,000-GEL financing from the Enterprise Georgia program to build this greenhouse farm. The greenhouse, depending on the season, is used to grow various vegetable seedlings. The family also runs a cherry plum orchard to sell the crops to the Marneuli Food Factory.
A variety of infrastructural projects are under implementation in the village of Dioknisi, the Head of Government underlined, with the drinking water project nearing completion, to be followed by work on upgrading the village's internal roads. The village boasts a European-standard school with Azerbaijani and Georgian students studying together as part of the school's Georgian learning sector.
