I wish all Christians a Happy Feast Day! Christ is risen! I wish peace and stability to our nation, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili told the press at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

The Head of Government singled out the Patriarch's Paschal Epistle as most edifying, deep, and wise.

"I wish all Christians a Happy Feast Day! Christ is risen! I wish peace and stability to our nation, to our people! This day is about hope, rejuvenation, and our hope in a better future, a better tomorrow. I wish all of you a peaceful tomorrow, and all the best to each and every one of you. Every word of our wise Patriarch is interesting and instructive, and edifying, deep, and wise, as usual," Irakli Garibashvili said.

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended the Paschal Liturgy in the company of his spouse. The Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral was served by His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All-Georgia Ilia II, together with Patriarchal Locum Tenens/Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri) of Senaki and Chkhorotsku, the members of the Holy Synod, and other clergymen.

Before the Divine Liturgy, the parish at the Holy Trinity Cathedral's churchyard listened to the Georgian Patriarch's Paschal Epistle.

The Paschal Liturgy was attended by President Salome Zurabishvili, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, and representatives of executive and legislative authorities.
