Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia accompanied by Otar Shamugia, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia visited Banoja Village in Tskaltubo Municipality as part of his regional tour in Imereti today. The Head of Government of Georgia got acquainted with a local farmer Guga Kachkachishvili, who benefited from the concessional agro credit and acquired honey processing inventory and machinery for the production of honeycomb.

According to the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, the enterprise of Guga Kachkachishvili was financed with 25 000 GEL through the State Program for Concessional Agro Credits.

The local farmer noted that funding has helped him to acquire the honey processing inventory and honeycomb production equipment, leading to the increase and extension of the family enterprise.

After obtaining the funding, 12 tons of honey and 35 tons of honeycomb are currently produced for the export markets at the enterprise of Guga Kachkachishvili.

The Head of Government of Georgia was accompanied to the local enterprise by representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the country.
