Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia inspected rehabilitation works on Galaktion Tabidze Street of Tskaltubo Municipality carried out within the scope of the Regional Renovation Program today.
The Head of Government of Georgia was briefed about the current and planned works by Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, thereby noting that total cost of rehabilitation works on Galaktion Tabidze Street amounted to 6 532 985 GEL. Complete rehabilitation covers 6 buildings and pedestrian pavements in the vicinity, as well as stairs leading to a school building.
Program is aimed at the creation of a clean and inviting environment for local residents and visitors of the municipality.
Program launched with an initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia branded as the Renovation of Regions covers 63 municipalities. Tentative cost of the first phase only amounts to 500 MLN GEL. Projects implemented within the scope of the program envisage the urban renovation of regions, which entail the development of significant facilities in the municipal and private title ownership.
The Prime Minister of Georgia was accompanied to the site by representatives of the executive, legislative and local authorities.
