Today, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visits Queen Tamar Street and the nearby square garden under rehabilitation in Samtredia within the scope of the Renewed Regions program. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze briefed the Head of Government on implemented and planned works.

According to Minister Karseladze, 8 million GEL's worth of urban upgrading projects are under in full swing in Samtredia under the program. Work is underway on the rehabilitation and strengthening the energy efficiency of 6 buildings on Queen Tamar Street, with windows replaced, and street lighting installed. The project also seeks to upgrade the territory and the territory adjacent to Queen Tamar Street and nearby square garden.

The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia's Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure is implementing infrastructural projects in 63 municipalities, under Renewed Regions, a program initiated by the Prime Minister. The estimated value of the program's first phase alone makes up 500 million GEL.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by representatives of executive, legislative, and local governments.
