Economy is growing, reaching 14.4% in Q1. It was announced by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia at the Executive Government Meeting today.

The Head of Government of Georgia noted that export of local output, proceeds from tourism and remittances are all tilting upwards.

"Economic growth indicator was 18% in January, 14.6% in February and 10.6% in March - actual already. It all ends up being 14.4%, which is truly overwhelming. I wish to tell the public in a nutshell that export of local output, proceeds from tourism and remittances are all tilting upwards. Thus, we have an utterly positive trend overall towards this end" noted Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.
