Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili-together with Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze-visited the newly rehabilitated public school in the village of Tkhinvali, Ozurgeti Municipality.

The public school in the village of Tkhinvali was built with financial support from the Municipal Development Fund. The project's value exceeds 2 million GEL. Designed to accommodate 150 students, the building features a sports ground, a library, a reading room, and technological and natural science laboratories. Heating, water supply, and sewage systems are installed in the building fully adapted for children with special educational needs.

As with Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli underlined, the village of Tkhinvali, up until now, has not had a school equipped with all relevant learning resources and modern infrastructure, and it is crucially important that students now can be educated in a modern-standard environment.

On his visit to the Tkhinvali public school, the Prime Minister was accompanied by representatives of executive, legislative, and local governments.
