Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited the mini tea factory operated by the Plantation company in the village of Melekeduri, Ozurgeti Municipality.
The Head of Government was hosted by Lana Zhghenti, the enterprise's chief executive.
As the Head of Government underlined, agriculture is one of the Government's key priority directions, and the state maximally supports farmers and entrepreneurs through a variety of agricultural programs.
The enterprise's total investment value is 300,000 GEL. The entrepreneur has received financing from the Produce in Georgia and Affordable Agricultural Credit programs, to build a tea plantation on 5 hectares of land.
The Head of Government was accompanied by representatives of executive, legislative, and local governments.
