Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili familiarized himself with rehabilitation work carried out in Khashuri under the Renewed Regions state program.
Said work includes upgrading the central square and its adjacent territory, three buildings and two square gardens, with the facades of buildings on Giorgi Saakadze and Merab Kostava Streets also being upgraded, and rehabilitation in full swing in the central square and Dimitri Kipiani Square Garden, where the Prime Minister spoke with the city's residents.
According to information provided by Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze to the Head of Government, besides 4.5 million GEL allocated for the project, the Municipal Development Fund will supply the municipality with an additional 567,000 GEL.
The Head of Government was accompanied by representatives of executive, legislative, and local governments.
