Prime Minister of Georgia Visits Renovated House Museum of Dimitry Kipiani Print Version

Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia visited a renovated House Museum of Dimitry Kipiani in Kvishkheti Village of Khashuri Municipality today.

The Head of Government of Georgia was greeted at the gates by Guide Clara Gelashvili, who shared information about the history of the museum and exhibits. According to her, almost 500 items, documents and images related to Dimitry Kipiani are currently kept at the museum.

As Clara Gelashvili noted, the rehabilitation project of the facility was prepared within the effort of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, which was aimed at the renovation of the museum in line with the modern standards and full rehabilitation of the main building.

As Revaz Nozadze, Principal of the Museum noted, rehabilitation of the landmark was carried out with a signature made on the project initiative by Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.

As the Head of Government of Georgia stated, such projects and financial support towards them has always been provided and will be eagerly continued in future by the Government of Georgia.

Total cost of the rehabilitation works carried out at the museum amounted to 848 271 GEL. Resources have been allocated from the Fund Earmarked for Regional Projects and local budgets.


The Head of Government of Georgia was accompanied to the site by representatives of the executive, legislative and local authorities of the country.
