Today, Georgian Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited the Gori Gymnasium of the Venerable Father Giorgi of Mount Athos. The Head of Government was hosted by Metropolitan Andria of Gori and Ateni.
The Gori Gymnasium of the Venerable Father Giorgi of Mount Athos, one of the oldest seminaries in Georgia, currently has 720 students.
The school's building incorporates 33 classrooms, a computer class, a laboratory, and a workshop. Students are free to use the school's library as well, with its diverse repository of books and periodicals. They also enjoy the benefits of the computer class and a well-equipped assembly hall. In light of the growing numbers of enrollment applicants, a second building a gym were built.
The Gori Seminary was established in 1817. At different times, many famous public figures were educated here.
