The strategic partnership between Georgia and the United Kingdom, and the close friendly relations between the two countries, were the key topics of today's meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili thanked the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for firmly supporting Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic integration, also expressing hope for deeper partnership alongside further democratization and reforms.
The meeting focused on the close cooperation between the two countries across a variety of areas, also pointing out the strategic dialogue format and cooperation in a number of directions as driving forces advancing the relations between the two countries to a new level. Irakli Garibashvili invited Boris Johnson to Georgia at the latter's convenience.
