Irakli Garibashvili and Ali Asadov discussed ways of further deepening the close and productive political, economic, transport, energy, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
The high-level political dialogue between the two countries was noted, with emphasis in this context placed on the importance of the visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to Georgia.
The conversation also touched on the security situation in the region and worldwide.
