By decision of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, January 3 through January 6 have been declared holidays for employees of administrative bodies defined by the Administrative Code.

The relevant ordinance was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili earlier.

The ordinance reads that the given administrative body is authorized to identify services and servants subordinated to it and comprising its system to whom said ordinance does not apply as long as fulfilling their functions is urgently necessitated to carry out state governance and ensure the normal functioning of society.

The ordinance does not apply to the financial obligations to be fulfilled by persons subordinated to the supervision of the National Bank of Georgia.

In addition, the ordinance does not apply to activities related to state procurements defined in the Law of Georgia on State Procurement.
