Prime Minister of Georgia Visits Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region

On 10 November Prime Minister of Georgia was on a visit in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. Grigol Mgaloblishvili opened renovated public schools in Misaktsieli and Mukhrani Villages. In Mtskheta Public School N2 he met with the teachers of the region. The Prime Minister obtained from the teachers firsthand information on the current problems in the education system.

"The goal of the meeting was to hear from the teachers. We are working on the budget and I did not want to make a decision based on figures only. I wanted to talk to teachers to hear from them what their priorities are. The teacher and the education system should be our prime concern. The state is based on the education system and the teacher. Therefore, the stronger the education system, the stronger the state," Grigol Mgaloblishvili said.

The school was rehabilitated under the Presidential Program "Iakob Gogebashvili - Rehabilitation of Public Schools." It should be mentioned that under the program 11 public schools in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region were constructed and rehabilitated in 2006-2007 to cost 4 114 881 Lari.
